7k For Fargo!
Menachem Hornbacher
Imagine having to take a 442 mile, 8-hour drive while navigating international border crossings during COVID-19 on icy unmaintained rural roads. Now imagine doing that every month.
This is the challenge facing the Jewish women of Fargo, the largest city in North Dakota.
If you don't know, the ritual bathing in the mikvah is one of the most observed, and important traditions of Jewish women everywhere. This is something that many women are doing every month.
Building a mikvah only costs $250,000. As everyone here in business knows that is nothing to solve such a serious need. Even a little contribution can go quite far.
And for all my fellow men out there, be grateful every day that you don't have to deal with anything remotely like this and do try to help where you can.
I will personally be matching every dollar raised below up to $3,600 USD given to helping solve this cause.

If you are curious, the photo on top is of a snowstorm in Fargo circa 1950. The worst recent snowstorm was 72ft of snow in 2018
